Projected lineup for Islanders
UNIONDALE, N.Y. -- This should be the Islanders lineup for Tuesday's game against Pittsburgh.

Matt Moulson - John Tavares - PA Parenteau
Michael Grabner - Frans Nielsen - Kyle Okposo
Brian Rolston - Josh Bailey - Blake Comeau
Matt Martin - Marty Reasoner - Jay Pandolfo

Mark Streit - Steve Staios
Andrew MacDonald - Travis Hamonic
Mark Eaton - Mike Mottau

Evgeni Nabokov will start in net. Rick DiPietro will serve as the backup.

Islanders coach Jack Capuano said defenseman Milan Jurcina (groin) and forward Nino Niederreiter (groin) are getting close, but neither is ready to return to the lineup. Jurcina practiced with the team Monday, and Niederreiter could re-join his teammates in practice next week.

Quote of the Day

You don't see many. The [Drew] Doughtys, the [P.K.] Subbans, those are guys that create offense from the back and then on top of that ability, the size that he has. In the West you play against some pretty big players, and being able to clear the crease and contain the [Ryan] Getzlafs and the [Corey] Perrys and [Anze] Kopitars and players like that, we're excited about him going back there.
