LOS ANGELES -- Anaheim Ducks right wing Devante Smith-Pelly will miss the game Saturday with an upper-body injury, the team announced just before it played the Los Angeles Kings at Staples Center.
Smith-Pelly reportedly had soreness. He had been skating on the top line with captain Ryan Getzlaf, who was with right wing Emerson Etem and left wing Patrick Maroon in pregame warm-ups. The Ducks recalled forward Chris Wagner, who skated on the fourth line with center Nate Thompson and right wing Tim Jackman.
Los Angeles appears to get defenseman Robyn Regehr back from a lower-body injury. Regehr skated in warm-ups. The Kings appeared to change all their lines, notably with left wing Marian Gaborik, center Anze Kopitar and right wing Jeff Carter as the top line.
