Ducks' Getzlaf, Perry out vs. Islanders with flu

ANAHEIM -- Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf and right wing Corey Perry are out Wednesday against the New York Islanders because of flu symptoms, according to the Ducks.

The linemates were ill before the game at Honda Center. Perry came into Wednesday with an NHL-leading 11 goals and was tied for second with four power-play goals. Getzlaf was tied for third in the NHL in assists (11).

Anaheim can still have 12 forwards because it can put left wing Dany Heatley and center Rickard Rakell back into the lineup. The Ducks earlier Wednesday sent goalie Igor Bobkov back to the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Goalie Jason LaBarbera, who earned his first NHL win in more than a year in Anaheim's 3-2 victory against the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday, led the Ducks onto the ice for warm-ups Wednesday. Frederik Andersen (leg) will be the backup.
