At 5:51 of the second period in the Detroit Red Wings/New York Rangers game, video review was inconclusive in determining whether the puck crossed the New York goal line. The referee signaled "no goal" on the play and awarded a penalty shot to Detroit because Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein covered the puck in the crease. The referee's call on the ice stands - no goal Detroit on the original play and Gustav Nyquist is awarded a penalty shot.
