Vancouver Canucks goaltender Eddie Lack probably won't receive as much playing time with Ryan Miller now on the team, but Lack said Saturday he's excited to learn from the veteran and he's "going to try to learn as much as possible from him."
Lack received the bulk of the starts after the Canucks traded Roberto Luongo to the Florida Panthers in March. The 26-year-old went 16-17-5 with a 2.41 goals-against average and .912 save percentage in 41 games.
Miller became Vancouver's No. 1 goalie when he signed a three-year contract on July 3.
"To be honest, I'm not really thinking about it too much, I'm just taking it day-by-day here and focusing on my part," Lack told the Canucks website. "... I feel very comfortable with where I am right now."
