The Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings were battling on and off the ice Sunday afternoon.
During the Blackhawks' 3-1 victory against the Kings in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final at United Center, the teams made a friendly wager via Twitter that will ultimately benefit a group in one of the cities.
The loser of this best-of-7 series (Chicago now leads 1-0) will donate an autographed captain's jersey to a charity of the winner's choice.
Jonathan Toews, who scored a goal Sunday, is Chicago's captain; Dustin Brown wears the "C" for Los Angeles.
Los Angeles also asked Chicago to include a pizza as part of the deal.
"Done," the Blackhawks tweeted. "Note we don't roll with alfalfa sprouts and mashed yeast though."
