The Anaheim Ducks recalled goaltender John Gibson from Norfolk of the American Hockey League on Friday.
Ducks goaltender Frederik Andersen was injured in the third period of Game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings.
Jonas Hiller completed the Ducks' 3-2 win that pulled them within 2-1 in the best-of-7 Stanley Cup Playoff series.
Game 4 is Saturday at Staples Center (9:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, RDS, TSN).
Gibson made his NHL debut April 7 and played three regular-season games for the Ducks. The 20-year-old was 3-0-0 with a 1.33 goals-against average and .954 save percentage.
