Getzlaf is back in lineup for Ducks

ANAHEIM -- Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf participated in warm-ups and will play Game 5 of the Western Conference First Round Series against the Dallas Stars on Friday at Honda Center.

Getzlaf took line rushes with Corey Perry and Nick Bonino. Getzlaf missed Game 4 with an undisclosed upper-body injury that is believed to be related to the facial injury that required stitches in Game 1.

Anaheim also skated its kid line of Devante Smith-Pelly, Rickard Rakell and Emerson Etem. The other lines in warm-ups were Jakob Silfverberg, Saku Koivu and Andrew Cogliano, and Patrick Maroon-Mathieu Perreault and Teemu Selanne.

Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm was not on the ice and was scratched with a stiff neck. Luca Sbisa took his place. Lindholm saw 12:37 of ice time in Game 4, his lowest total of the series, and coach Bruce Boudreau said Friday morning that he likes Sbisa's experience.

Quote of the Day

It's pretty crazy, but believe me when I say we didn't draft these players with the mindset we had to because they had good hockey-playing dads. It just turned out that way. But we're certainly glad they're a part of our organization.

— Arizona Coyotes director of amateur scouting Tim Bernhardt regarding the coincidence that six of the organization's top prospects are sons of former NHL players
