Panthers goalie Luongo scratched from start

SUNRISE, Fla. -- Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo was scratched from his start against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night because of an upper-body injury.

Luongo led the Panthers onto the ice for warm-ups, but was ruled out shortly before game time. He is in uniform and on the bench.

Dan Ellis will make his fifth start for the Panthers since being acquired from the Dallas Stars in a trade for Tim Thomas on March 5.

Luongo played two games after returning from an upper-body injury sustained March 27 in the first period of a game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Quote of the Day

It's an incredible feeling just to see it go in and see the Joe go pretty crazy.  Ever since the introduction there, I was kind of feeling the nerves, and to put that one home, I started to feel comfortable and I thought my play started to pick up.
