Windsor's Ho-Sang suspended 15 games

Windsor Spitfires forward and top 2014 NHL Draft prospect Joshua Ho-Sang has been suspended for the first 15 games of the 2014-15 Ontario Hockey League season for an incident during a playoff game against the London Knights on March 27.

In the second period of Game 4 of the teams' first-round playoff series, Ho-Sang was chasing London defenseman Zach Bell when he pushed Bell from behind. Bell fell feet first into the boards and sustained a broken leg. Ho-Sang received a minor penalty for holding on the play.

London won the game 4-3 to finish the four-game sweep.

Ho-Sang led Windsor in goals (32), assists (53) and points (85) in 67 regular-season games. He had one goal and two assists in four playoff games; after being a plus-28 in the regular season he was a minus-10 in the playoffs.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound forward is No. 18 in NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of North American skaters for the 2014 NHL Draft. In NHL.com's most recent mock drafts, Ho-Sang was picked to go between the 17th and 22nd picks in the first round.
