Soderberg out for Bruins; Iginla back

TORONTO -- Forward Carl Soderberg is not in the Boston Bruins lineup Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Soderberg returned to Boston due to personal reasons, as was expected with his wife expecting their child.

Forward Jarome Iginla returned to the lineup after he did not play Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings. Iginla, who leads the Bruins with 30 goals, will play in his normal spot on a line with David Krejci and Milan Lucic.

Goalie Chad Johnson is the starter after Tuukka Rask played Wednesday.

The Maple Leafs did not have Joffrey Lupul in the lineup. Lupul was not on the ice for warm-ups and is out with a lower-body injury. Jerry D'Amigo takes his place.

Lupul is third on the Maple Leafs with 22 goals and has 44 points.

Quote of the Day

You can be hyped all you want, but his game will speak for itself. He's obviously going to be a great player so we've got to make sure we keep an eye on him. Whether it's his first game or his 1,000th game, our job is to take care of business, shut him down.
