Coyotes forward Erat out against Bruins

Phoenix Coyotes forward Martin Erat, who was traded from the Washington Capitals prior to the NHL Trade Deadline after struggling to find a good fit in D.C., was injured after four shifts in Phoenix's road win against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.

He was ruled out by coach Dave Tippett for the game against the Boston Bruins on Thursday at TD Garden. General manager Don Maloney told the Arizona Republic he hopes to have Erat back in the lineup within a week.

The Bruins did not hold a morning skate after winning 4-1 on the road against the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday. Boston's trade-deadline acquisition, defenseman Andrej Meszaros, has been in the lineup for two straight games. But coach Claude Julien might look for a way to get defenseman Dougie Hamilton, a scratch for the past two games, back into the lineup.

Here are the projected lineups for the Coyotes and Bruins:

I didn't even know how to celebrate. I threw my hands up, they gave me a hug, so I guess that's all I needed.
