The Columbus Blue Jackets' two newest players will be in the lineup when the Blue Jackets play at the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.
Forward Matt Frattin, part of the package that came over from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Marian Gaborik, will start the game on the fourth line with Derek McKenzie and Mark Letestu. That was the group he did line rushes with during the team's morning skate.
Frattin said he was looking forward to getting right into a game with his new team.
"I talked to our coaching staff and they want us to play a hard game," Frattin said. "I think I fit right in with that."
Defenseman Nick Schultz will be paired with Dalton Prout, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
For the Blackhawks, center Peter Regin missed the morning skate but coach Joel Quenneville said he expects to have Regin in the lineup for the game.
