PHI @ WSH - 11:22 of the First Period

At 11:22 of the first period in the Flyers/Capitals game, the Situation Room initiated video review to further examine a play at the Washington net. Video review determined that Claude Giroux's shot completely crossed the goal line, hitting the back bar in the net. According to Rule 38.6 "In the event that a video replay shows a goal was scored prior to the play being stopped, the Video Goal Judge will inform the Game Timekeeper and Official Scorer of the time and the amount of playing time left to be reset on the game clock and penalty time clocks (if applicable)." Good goal Philadelphia.

Quote of the Day

I feel that responsibility, I've felt it for the last two years. We core guys get a lot of minutes, we get a lot of opportunity out there. Our teammates, the organization and fans look to us to be the guys to put the puck in the net and to create momentum out there.
