Pacioretty replaces Stepan in U.S. lineup

Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty will draw back into the United States lineup for its quarterfinal game Wednesday against the Czech Republic (Noon ET, USA, TSN2) at Shayba Arena.

Pacioretty will replace Derek Stepan, who played six shifts totaling 4:59 of ice time in the Americans' final preliminary-round game, against Slovenia on Sunday.

In two games Pacioretty has one assist, a plus-1 rating and five shots on goal while averaging 10:0 of ice time per game.

Jonathan Quick will start in goal with Ryan Miller serving as the backup.
