Couture just excited to be in New York
As one of the new guys on this year's NHL Player Media Tour, 22-year-old Logan Couture is just along for the ride.

In the below video, he discusses his undying love for the Toronto Blue Jays, confesses his lack of style, and divulges which fellow NHL player he is most excited to meet on the Player Media Tour.

This is actually the young center's second visit to the Big Apple; the Sharks spent a day in New York last season after playing a game across the river in New Jersey.

"Jumbo (Joe Thornton) wanted to go shopping, so we walked through all of these shopping spots with him and I just stared at all of these expensive shoes," Couture said.

Although he saw some of the sights on his first visit, he is excited to check out ground zero while he is here, especially since it's so close to the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 tragedy.
Quote of the Day

We think that Randy is a very good coach. Our players think that Randy is a very good coach. We think that he's going to get the most out of this group. With the addition of the two assistants, a bit of a different dynamic, we're very comfortable that this is a quality coaching staff that's going to maximize the potential of this team.
