Jason Arnott talks with NHL Live about his retirement

Shortly after announcing his retirement from the NHL on Monday, Jason Arnott joined NHL Live to look back on his career and discuss his decision.

Arnott is best remembered for scoring the game-winning goal in overtime for the New Jersey Devils in Game 6 of the 2000 Stanley Cup Final.

"It never gets old," Arnott said. "I watch video of it all the time. It brings back great memories."

Arnott excelled in New Jersey playing on a line with Patrik Elias and Petr Sykora.

"They were awesome to play with, no question," Arnott said. "They brought a lot of enthusiasm every game and practiced hard every practice. We had a lot of fun together. We could talk to each other. We could tell each other when things weren't going right, or one guy wanted to change something or one guy wasn't working hard enough. We just had that brother chemistry that we all wanted to do well for each other."
