The St. Louis Blues placed forward Brenden Morrow on injured reserve Monday with an upper-body injury. Morrow was evaluated and diagnosed by team physician Dr. Rick Wright at Washington University Orthopedics and Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Morrow has three points (two goals, one assist) and 12 penalty minutes in nine games for the Blues, who signed him as a free agent on Sept. 23. In 14 NHL seasons, Morrow has 545 points (251 goals, 294 assists) and 1,234 penalty minutes in 859 games.
