Perreault back for Ducks, on line with Selanne

PHILADELPHIA -- Mathieu Perreault sat out the Anaheim Ducks' game Sunday against the Columbus Blue Jackets with a sore left wrist, but after going through a full practice for the second straight day Tuesday, he'll be back in the lineup Tuesday night when the Ducks face the Philadelphia Flyers.

Getting the chance to play on a line with Teemu Selanne certainly speeds up the healing process.

Perreault will center the Ducks' second line with Emerson Etem on the left side and Selanne, the likely Hall of Famer playing his final NHL season, on the right side.

"It's been great," Perreaut said. "Hall-of-Fame guy. He's been unreal to play with. So far for me it's been really good playing with him."

Selanne also has enjoyed his time on a line with Perreault.

"I'm so excited about this guy," Selanne said. "He's so creative and fast and he can see the game, he can shoot. I'm very excited about this game. For myself, you are so much more active when you play with a guy like him because you know if you get open the puck is coming. His skill level is amazing."

While Perreault will be back in the lineup, the Ducks will be without forward Dustin Penner, who will sit out a fifth straight game due to a concussion sustained Oct. 20 during a game against the Dallas Stars. Penner went took part in the team's optional morning skate Tuesday, but is not ready to return to the lineup yet.

Here is how the Ducks likely will look when they take the ice Tuesday:

Patrick Maroon - Ryan Getzlaf - Corey Perry

Emerson Etem - Mathieu Perreault - Teemu Selanne

Andrew Cogliano - Nick Bonino - Kyle Palmieri

Daniel Winnik - Peter Holland - Devante Smith-Pelly

Ben Lovejoy - Cam Fowler

Hampus Lindholm - Francois Beauchemin

Bryan Allen - Sami Vatanen

Jonas Hiller

Frederik Andersen

Scratched: Mark Fistric, Rickard Rakell

Injured: Dustin Penner (concussion), Saku Koivu (concussion), Jakob Silfverberg (hand), Matt Beleskey (upper body), Luca Sbisa (ankle), Sheldon Souray (wrist), Viktor Fasth (lower body)
