Bourque in Canadiens' lineup against Blue Jackets

MONTREAL -- Montreal Canadiens left wing Rene Bourque was in the lineup Thursday night against the Columbus Blue Jackets after missing the morning skate with the flu.

Bourque was skating on a line with David Desharnais and Daniel Briere.

Coach Michel Therrien said Thursday morning that if Bourque were unable to play, rookie defenseman Nathan Beaulieu would play at left wing. Beaulieu was scratched instead.

The Canadiens were already without left wing Max Pacioretty, out with a lower body injury, so missing Bourque would have created a major void on the left side.
