BUFFALO -- The Buffalo Sabres will have a different look to their lineup for their home opener Friday against the Ottawa Senators.
With Ville Leino out indefinitely with a cracked rib, rookie Johan Larsson takes his spot on a line with Steve Ott and Tyler Ennis.
Buffalo's fourth line will see things get a bit beefier as Cody McCormick will sit out in favor of 6-foot-8 John Scott. Coach Ron Rolston said he wanted to give Scott a chance to play after he sat out the team's 2-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday.
"He didn't get in there the other night and we're just going lineup to lineup," Rolston said. "Cody McCormick's done a good job, but we just want to get John in there."
Veteran forward Kevin Porter will move from left wing, where he played against Detroit, to center the fourth line, with Patrick Kaleta at right wing.
Ryan Miller will start in goal.
For the Ottawa Senators, it's the first chance to see summer acquisition Bobby Ryan in his spot on a line with Jason Spezza and Milan Michalek.
Craig Anderson will get the start in goal.
