Flames assign three to AHL, return Kanzig to juniors

The Calgary Flames reduced their training camp roster by four players on Thursday, sending three players to the American Hockey League and another back to juniors.

Forwards Michael Ferland, Corban Knight and Max Reinhart have been assigned to the Abbotsford Heat of the AHL, while defenseman Keegan Kanzig has been returned to the Victoria Royals of the Western Hockey League.

The Flames have 28 players remaining at camp.
