Ducks pare camp roster by three

The Anaheim Ducks pared three more players from their roster Wednesday and now have 32 players remaining in camp.

The Ducks send goaltender Frederik Anderson to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals. They also released defenseman Garnet Exelby from his pro tryout and sent him yo Norfolk.

Anaheim also returned defenseman Shea Weber to his junior team, the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League. The move came one day after the Ducks signed him to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The Ducks have 19 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goaltenders remaining in camp.

Quote of the Day

I just think about how much it hurts. The feelings aren't going to go away, probably never. It's just something that sticks with you for a long time.
