PITTSBURGH -- Forward Dylan Pavelek of the United States National Team Development Program's under-18 team was added Wednesday to the roster for Team Mullen for the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospect Game, which will be played Thursday at Consol Energy Center.
He replaces Austin Poganski of the Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League, who pulled out of the game due to an injury.
In addition to Poganski, forward Greg Betzold of the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League also will miss the game due to injury. According to USA Hockey, no replacement will be named for Betzold.
Pavelek had one goal and five points last season with the USNTDP under-17 team. The 5-foot-11, 181-pounder is listed as "C"-rated skater on NHL Central Scouting's preliminary player to watch list for the 2014 NHL Draft.
