The Nashville Predators on Monday assigned six players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Milwaukee Admirals, including forwards Patrick Cehlin, Joonas Rask, Miikka Salomaki, Colton Sissons and Austin Watson and defenseman Joonas Jarvinen.

The Predators now have 27 players remaining on their training camp roster.

Among the remaining forwards are Taylor Beck, Gabriel Bourque, Rich Clune, Matt Cullen, Mike Fisher, Filip Forsberg, Paul Gaustad, Matt Hendricks, Patric Hornqvist, David Legwand, Simon Moser, Eric Nystrom, Craig Smith, Nick Spaling, Viktor Stalberg, and Colin Wilson. The eight defensemen are Victor Bartley, Mattias Ekholm, Ryan Ellis, Seth Jones, Roman Josi, Kevin Klein, Joe Piskula and Shea Weber.

Goalies Pekka Rinne, Carter Hutton and Marek Mazanec are also on the roster.

For me, it's a great win for our hockey team and for a lot of people back in Columbus, especially our fans in particular … people who have been devoted to this organization, it's big.
