Blue Jackets return five to junior clubs

The Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday returned five players to their junior teams.

Among those leaving camp were three players taken in the 2013 NHL Draft -- defenseman Dillon Heatherington, a second-round pick (No. 50), who will rejoin Swift Current in the Western Hockey League; forward Oliver Bjorkstrand, a third-round pick (No. 89), who was sent back to Portland (WHL); and fourth-round pick (No. 105) forward Nick Moutrey, who will play for Saginaw in the Ontario Hockey League.

Also sent down was goalie Oscar Dansk (Erie, OHL) and forward Josh Anderson (London, OHL).

Quote of the Day

I've never seen anything like that. The great thing is I don't know how many times guys bailed me out where they had to score to keep it alive and they did every time. It was amazing. It's not the way we draw it up, to go 20 rounds here, but obviously it's a big win.
