Buffalo native Bailey sent back to junior by Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres cut their roster by five players Monday when it returned five players to their junior hockey teams.

Among those returned to their Canadian Hockey League club was forward Justin Bailey, a Buffalo native selected by the team in the second round (No. 52) of the 2013 NHL Draft. He'll return to the Kitchener Rangers of the Ontario Hockey League for a second season.

Also sent out were forwards Nicholas Baptiste (Sudbury, OHL), Justin Kea (Saginaw, OHL) and Logan Nelson (Victoria, Western Hockey League), along with defenseman Connor Boland (Peterborough, OHL).
