LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- When USA Blue plays Sweden on Monday here at Herb Brooks Arena, there will be a slightly different look from its game Sunday against Finland, a 6-5 overtime loss.
Chief among them is Adam Erne replacing Nicolas Kerdiles at left on the team's most productive line from Sunday. Erne will skate with center Daniel O'Regan and right wing Riley Barber, while Kerdiles will play with center Dominic Toninato and right wing Vince Hinostroza.
The other main change comes in goal, where Thatcher Demko will start. He relieved starter Anthony Stolarz on Sunday and allowed five goals on 19 shots. Stolarz will play the second half of the game; he stopped 14 of 15 shots Sunday.
Sweden will have a different goalie from its 4-2 win against USA White on Sunday, going with Ottawa Senators prospect Marcus Hogberg, with Jonas Johansson, a 2014 NHL Draft prospect, backing him up. Oscar Dansk, who stopped 15 of 17 shots Sunday, will sit out.
