Daniel Carcillo enjoyed a perfect day with the Stanley Cup on Sunday when he brought the most iconic trophy in sports to his hometown of King City, Ontario, about 25 miles north of Toronto.
The day's festivities started with photos of the Cup resting on the hood of a vintage 1964 Lincoln. From there, Carcillo was scheduled to meet with locals at the King City Community Centre, where area residents could meet the Chicago Blackhawks forward and pose for photographs with the Cup.
It wasn't the first time this summer Carcillo enjoyed a fun moment with the Cup. On June 28, he brought the Cup onstage during a concert featuring the legendary Canadian band Rush at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Ill. Carcillo carried the Cup to each member of the band, who later posed for photographs with the trophy following their performance.
