Richards, who has 10 points in 14 games in this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs, is starting as the center on the fourth line between Jordan Nolan and Kyle Clifford. Nolan is in the lineup for the first time in the series. He hasn't played since Game 6 of the conference semifinals against the San Jose Sharks.
Richards was injured late in Game 1 when he was hit hard by Blackhawks center Dave Bolland behind the goal line.
