Flu sidelines Blues forward McDonald

DETROIT -- St. Louis Blues forward Andy McDonald is out of the lineup for the game Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings because of the flu.

As a result of McDonald's absence, the Blues are playing with seven defensemen, but they're using Kris Russell as a left wing on the fourth line.

McDonald has four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in 26 games this season.

Quote of the Day

I first met him when I was 19 years old and he coached me for 13 consecutive years. I don't know how many athletes who have had that pleasure. Al Arbour was a man that left us not only feeling like champions, but left us with a lot of great memories that we can carry on through life.
