ANAHEIM -- Ryan Getzlaf will be a game-time decision for Friday night, but Anaheim Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau reiterated his captain's lower-body injury is "definitely not a serious thing."
Getzlaf got tangled up with Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars on Wednesday. He returned and scored a goal in the third period before Boudreau rested him the rest of the night. Getzlaf did not skate Friday morning and is still sore heading into Friday's game against Dallas.
"If he doesn't feel comfortable today, then he'll probably play Sunday," Boudreau said.
This is the third straight game between Anaheim and Dallas. Getzlaf has a goal and four assists with a plus-three rating in the two previous games.
Matthew Lombardi will make his Ducks debut and could slide into Getzlaf's spot on the top line.
"I haven't thought that far ahead because I'm always thinking Ryan's going to play," Boudreau said. "When it comes time, and we'll know, I'll put some combinations together this afternoon. I've been known to change the lines every now and again. If they don't work in the first five minutes, something else will have to take place."
STARS

Notes: Coach Glen Gulutzan moved Chiasson up to the top line as a shakeup. Gulutzan has some new young faces to work with and he likes the 6-foot-4, 187-pound player with Whitney and Benn.
"We knew he did well watching the game, but when we watched the game [on film], he did a lot of things well," Gulutzan said. "For us, changing the lines now was a matter of we're playing a team three times in a row and we want to not only spread out some our young guys but this is also change things up a bit."
MacDermid scored his first NHL goal on Wednesday, 31 years to the day his father, Paul, scored his first NHL goal for the Hartford Whalers in 1982.
"I talked to my parents yesterday and my mom had to research it herself to see if it was true, and it was," MacDermid said. "That's pretty cool."
