NEW YORK -- Winnipeg Jets coach Claude Noel said he will go with the same lineup Monday night against the New York Rangers that he used in his team's 3-1 home loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday.
The means goaltender Ondrej Pavelec, who is 2-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and .936 save percentage against the Rangers this season, will be in net.
The Jets didn't stake this morning, but here were the lines they employed against the Hurricanes:
Andrew Ladd – Bryan Little – Blake Wheeler
Evander Kane – Olli Jokinen – Antti Miettinen
Kyle Wellwood -- Eric Tangradi – Nik Antropov
Patrice Cormier – Alex Burmistrov – Chris Thorburn
Tobias Enstrom – Dustin Byfuglien
Rangers forward Darroll Powe will check back into the lineup in place of Kris Newbury, who was reassigned to Connecticut of the American Hockey League on Sunday. Powe last played March 24 against the Washington Capitals and has zero points in 28 games this season.
Rangers coach John Tortorella said he expects Brian Boyle to play both wing and center against the Jets.
Here are the Rangers’ lines and defense pairings in pre-game warmups:
Rick Nash – Derek Stepan – Ryan Callahan
Mats Zuccarello – Brad Richards – Marian Gaborik
Carl Hagelin – Brian Boyle – J.T. Miller
Chris Kreider – Darroll Powe – Taylor Pyatt
Michael Del Zotto – Dan Girardi
Ryan McDonagh – Anton Stralman
