The 30-year-old has missed Carolina's past 10 games with a concussion, but participated in his second straight practice Tuesday morning in preparation for the team's game with the Winnipeg Jets. LaRose was on a line with Jordan Staal and Jeff Skinner during the morning skate.
He had two goals and four points in 19 games prior to the injury. Now in his eighth NHL season with the Hurricanes, LaRose has produced 85 goals and 179 points in 492 career regular-season games.
