Notes: The Predators begin a five-game road trip. These teams met in the Music City on Feb. 25 with Nashville coming away with a 5-4 win. Barry Trotz's club is 0-5-1 in their last six on the road with their last win away from Bridgestone Arena coming on Feb. 5 at St. Louis. Fisher will likely be appearing in the 800th game of his NHL career on Tuesday. The Predators currently have a three-game winning streak over the Stars.

Notes: The Stars lost 2-0 at Phoenix on Saturday, splitting a quick two-game trip that also saw them win 5-1 at Los Angeles on Thursday. Tuesday's game will likely mark the return of Whitney to the ice for the first time since Feb. 1 vs. Phoenix. Whitney suffered a foot injury that night against the Coyotes which required surgery and has missed Dallas' last 16 games. However, while Whitney will likely return against the Nashville Predators, the Stars will likely be without their first-line center in Benn as well as their captain in Morrow. Tuesday's game is the start of a four-game homestand for Dallas.
