NEWARK, N.J. -- The New Jersey Devils will have their captain back in the lineup against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday at Prudential Center.
Defenseman Bryce Salvador, who missed the team's game on Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes with an upper body injury, will replace Mark Fayne.
Salvador, who said he was injured in a Feb. 28 game in Winnipeg, was checked by doctors on Saturday. The 37-year-old Salvador has one assist and a minus-5 rating in 24 games for the Devils this season.
"I don't have any issues with where he'll be [Sunday]," Devils coach Peter DeBoer said of Salvador.
Additionally, Krystofer Barch will replace Stefan Matteau in the lineup. Henrik Tallinder will miss his third straight game with a lower-body injury.
