According to a report by Arthur Staple of Newsday, Visnovsky also will miss Thursday's game against the New York Rangers.
Visnovsky has a goal and six points in 12 games since joining the Islanders.
He initially was suspended by the team at the beginning of the season for failure to report following a trade from the Anaheim Ducks. Visnovsky's agent later said he was tending to personal matters and reported to the Islanders last month, making his season debut Feb. 9.
