Skinner, three others to return for Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes are set to welcome back four players to the lineup, star forward Jeff Skinner among them.

The team announced that Skinner will return for Thursday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins along with forward Tim Brent and defensemen Tim Gleason and Jamie McBain.

Skinner, who is tied for second on the club with seven goals and tied for third in scoring with 14 points, has missed the past five games after suffering a concussion.

Brent and Gleason had been out with lower-body injuries, and McBain was out with an upper-body injury.

Quote of the Day

I downplayed the first one because I thought it's just a hockey game. We just want to win the game; it's against our rival and we want the two points. I downplayed it, but now having gone through the first one I look back and say, 'Geez, that was really cool.' I think as I've grown a bit older I've got a lot more appreciation for what we're allowed to do every day.
