Malkin skated for 30 minutes and reported no symptoms, according to the Penguins. There is no timetable for his return.
"Malkin did skate back in Pittsburgh," head coach Dan Bylsma said. "He was symptom-free (Tuesday) and progressed to exercise today. I think he was on the ice for 30 minutes or so."
Malkin took a hard spill into the boards Friday during the Penguins' 3-1 victory against the Florida Panthers at Consol Energy Center. In the days that followed, Malkin reported memory loss and was placed on injured reserve.
