Probable lines for Flyers as they host Capitals

VOORHEES, N.J. -- Newly acquired forward Simon Gagne wasn't on the ice with the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday, but it's likely he'll play when the team hosts the Washington Capitals.

Without Gagne, the Flyers skated with the same lines they had in Monday's loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. But here's how they could look for Wednesday's game:

Scott Hartnell - Claude Giroux - Jakub Voracek

Brayden Schenn - Danny Briere - Wayne Simmonds

Simon Gagne - Sean Couturier - Maxime Talbot

Zac Rinaldo - Ruslan Fedotenko - Harry Zolnierczyk

Braydon Coburn - Nicklas Grossmann

Kimmo Timonen - Luke Schenn

Bruno Gervais - Erik Gustafsson

Ilya Bryzgalov

Brian Boucher

Scratched: Tom Sestito, Mike Knuble, Kurtis Foster

Injured: Matt Read, Jody Shelley, Tye McGinn, Andrej Meszaros, Michael Leighton

Quote of the Day

I first met him when I was 19 years old and he coached me for 13 consecutive years. I don't know how many athletes who have had that pleasure. Al Arbour was a man that left us not only feeling like champions, but left us with a lot of great memories that we can carry on through life.
