Rangers rule Nash out of Saturday's game

The New York Rangers on Friday announced forward Rick Nash will miss his third straight game when the Rangers play at the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.

The Rangers have not given a reason for Nash's absence.

The team also announced defenseman Steve Eminger has been recalled from the Connecticut Whale of the American Hockey League.

Quote of the Day

He's only 17 but he can see the ice so well and he moves the puck and goes to the open ice all the time, so I just think he's a player that is ready to play in the NHL. I'm really looking forward to coaching someone like this.
