Report: Nash doesn't travel with Rangers to Ottawa

New York Rangers forward Rick Nash isn't traveling with the team for Thursday night's game against the Ottawa Senators, according to multiple reports.

Nash didn't play in Tuesday night's 3-1 home loss to the Montreal Canadiens because of an undisclosed injury. He hasn't been ruled out to rejoin the team in time for Saturday night's rematch in Montreal.

In his first season with New York following an offseason trade from the Columbus Blue Jackets, the 28-year-old has three goals and 12 points in 14 games.

Quote of the Day

I downplayed the first one because I thought it's just a hockey game. We just want to win the game; it's against our rival and we want the two points. I downplayed it, but now having gone through the first one I look back and say, 'Geez, that was really cool.' I think as I've grown a bit older I've got a lot more appreciation for what we're allowed to do every day.
