Anisimov out with foot injury for Blue Jackets

GLENDALE -- The Columbus Blue Jackets were without center Artem Anisimov Saturday against the Phoenix Coyotes.

Anisimov, who is tied for second among the Blue Jackets with four goals, took a shot off the foot during Friday's 2-1 loss to the Kings in Los Angeles in the second period and didn't return. He is day-to-day.

Nick Drazenovic made his Columbus debut to replace Anisimov.

Quote of the Day

He's only 17 but he can see the ice so well and he moves the puck and goes to the open ice all the time, so I just think he's a player that is ready to play in the NHL. I'm really looking forward to coaching someone like this.
