Note: Franzen was a late scratch from the Wings lineup and was replaced by Eaves, who has been out the previous four games.

"It's day-to-day and has progressively gotten worse,'' Detroit general manager Ken Holland told MLive.com regarding Franzen's status. "We're going to give him a day off and see how he feels tomorrow."
