Senators recall 2011 top pick Zibanejad

The Ottawa Senators have called up forward Mika Zibanejad, the team's 2011 top pick, from their American Hockey League affiliate.

Zibanejad, the sixth pick of the 2011 NHL Draft, has four goals and seven assists in 23 AHL games this season.

Zibanejad had one assist in nine NHL games at the start of last season.

He will be available for the Senators' next game, Tuesday against the Washington Capitals.

Quote of the Day

It's pretty crazy, but believe me when I say we didn't draft these players with the mindset we had to because they had good hockey-playing dads. It just turned out that way. But we're certainly glad they're a part of our organization.
