Red Wings' Colaiacovo could miss up to a month

The Detroit Red Wings' beat-up blue line got more bad news Tuesday, as general manager Ken Holland announced Carlo Colaiacovo will miss 3-4 weeks with an injury to his left shoulder.

Colaiacovo was hurt midway through the third period of Monday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Red Wings already are missing blueliners Jonathan Ericsson (hip) and Jakub Kindl (groin). The Red Wings signed veteran free agent Kent Huskins to a one-year deal Tuesday morning and had him in the starting lineup Tuesday night against the Dallas Stars.

A piece of scar tissue breaks off, pinches the nerve, and every time you move your leg it's almost like having a root canal in your stomach and groin.
