The Calgary Flames have reduced their roster to 26 players by reassigning center Paul Bryon and defenseman Brett Carson to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League, while goaltender Henrik Karlsson has been designated for assignment but remains with the team.
The Flames have two goalies, nine defensemen and 15 forwards remaining in camp. Teams must finalize their 23-man roster for opening night by 5 p.m. ET Friday.
