Here's the lineup the United States will go with against Germany for its opening game at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship:
John Gaudreau - J.T. Miller - Rocco Grimaldi
Alex Galchenyuk - Sean Kuraly - Riley Barber
Blake Pietila - Cole Bardreau - Ryan Hartman
Mario Lucia - Vincent Trocheck - Tyler Biggs
Mike Reilly - Seth Jones
Shayne Gostisbehere - Jacob Trouba
John Gibson will start in goal, with Jon Gillies serving as the backup.
The U.S. will go with six defensemen today and decide prior to their next game, Friday against Russia, what they might need to add to the blue line. If coach Phil Housley and the staff feel they need more size and physicality, they will add Patrick Sieloff to the roster. If the feeling is they need more offensive skill, they will add Matthew Grzelcyk.
The game can be seen live starting at 9 a.m. ET on the NHL Network-U.S. and streaming on NHL.com.
