Brown's whirlwind day with Cup continues

While Dustin Brown was visiting his old high school during his day with the Stanley Cup, the Los Angeles Kings captain was faced with a daunting task -- making enough time for almost 1,000 people who lined up for a picture with the trophy.

Thanks to Brown's wife, Nicole, running a tight ship, everyone came away with a photo. A few lucky fans who bought raffle tickets even won an autographed miniature Cup.

All the money collected Saturday morning will go to the Semper Fi Fund, which does charity work for Marines injured in the line of duty.

Brown got involved with the organization after his wife's cousin died due to injuries sustained while serving in Afghanistan.

Following the event at Brown's alma mater, he hopped into a limo with his family and friends and drove about 200 feet to a nearby waterfall where he posed for pictures with the Cup. Brown and his travel party had to negotiate some treacherous terrain to get to the stream, but it was well worth it.

The next stop on the tour was the Ithaca Ice Co., where Brown brought the Cup to his Uncle Chuck, who runs the business that has been providing ice-related products and services throughout New York state for almost 40 years.

After posing for photos with his uncle and Ice Company employees, Brown stopped at Glenwood Pines for lunch. Before heading downstairs to eat, Brown and his friends drank some Bud Light from the Cup as patrons cheered and took pictures.

Despite all this moving around, Brown's day isn't even half over -- so stay tuned to see what happens next.
