Defenseman Zanon signs with Avalanche

Defenseman Greg Zanon has signed with the Colorado Avalanche, according to TSN.

The contract reportedly is for two years, $4.5 million.

Zanon, 32, played 56 games for the Minnesota Wild and Boston Bruins last season. He had three goals and five assists.

In 449 career games, he has 12 goals and 44 assists.
